Sir Patrick Goodman (Patron)
Distinguished New Zealand businessman and patron of the
arts, Sir Patrick has been Patron of Arts Marketing since
1995. He is also Patron of The Suter Te Aratoi o Whakatu.
Sir Patrick has retired from his hectic business career
and living in Motueka, Nelson.
Tim Rogers (Co Acting Chair)
Tim moved to Nelson in 2005 from Melbourne to enjoy the best of New Zealand's outdoors and lives on a lifestyle block in Hope with his young family. He is currently the Upper South Island Area Manager of Business Banking for Westpac and comes here following a career in Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity in London, Auckland and Wellington. He became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales in 1986 and has a twenty year career including the completion of major corporate transactions throughout Europe, the United States and NZ.
Jon Tidswell (Co Acting chair)
Jon was born in Nelson & attended local schools before doing Law & Arts degrees at anterbury University. After practising Law in Napier, Wellington & Nelson for 20 years I am now a principal in Hamish Fletcher Lawyers, with a general Commercial Legal practice, & a particular interest in Aquaculture. In his private life he is married with children aged from 4 -20 years , and am actively engaged in the protection & restoration of Native forest.
Annabel Norman
Annabel is a trustee appointment from the performing arts
community to represent performing artists interests. This
is complementary to her role as the Nelson City Council
Festival Director and her role on the Theatre Royal Trust
Board.
Jeremy Matthews
Previously a graphic designer in Wellington, Jeremy has
returned to his home town of Nelson. Jeremy has extensive
work experience in the television industry and is a member
of the award-winning barber shop quartet ‘Vocal Accord’.
He is currently working in real estate.
Tim Wraight
Tim Wraight b. 1958 Lives and works at Mariri, near Motueka. Tim is a sculptor with a background in Whakairo (traditional Maori woodcarving). Tim's current practise is split between producing contemporary works in wood and other materials, and fulfilling a role as a traditional artist within a Maori context. His work is prominent in regional public spaces, marae, and major private collections, both in New Zealand and overseas. He is also the manager of the Nelson Arts Festival Sculpture Symposium and Sculpture Exhibition. Tim owns and runs Sealevel Studio Sculpture Gallery, an indoor and outdoor venue showcasing his own work, and that of other New Zealand artists.
Anna Seifried
Anna was born and breed in Upper Moutere and attending Waimea College, so Nelson really is her hometown. After a few years away ( first doing her undergrade at Otago University, her Post Grade at Adelaide University, Australia and then spending a few years working in the wine trade in Western Australia), the call to move home to take up the roll of Sales and Marketing Manager in the family business came up.
Although now based in Nelson, Anna spends around 3 months a year on the road in North America, Australia and around New Zealand. From all this travel, the appreciation for what Nelson has to offer is stronger than ever for Anna- the great beaches, mountains, wineries and national parks and of course the diverse array of creative people who make the region what it is, is something Anna is always proud to show visitors.

Warren Hoy (Chief Executive )
Warren Hoy has been appointed as Chief Executive on a permanent basis. The position is for 3 days a week. Warren is really enjoying his work with Arts Marketing and the balance of his time spent developing Enriching Day Spa with his partner Katie Thurston.
" I am very excited about the opportunity and I look forward to bringing leadership and experience to enhance Arts Marketing activities, profile, financial viability and outcome for you. My role is to build on the great work that has been done within the arts sector in the Nelson region over the last 15 years. "
The experience that Warren bring to Arts Marketing is as an Award winning tourism operator, see website www.pathwalker.co.nz. Prior to co-establishing Awaroa Lodge in 1991, Warren set up the first Art Gallery in Golden Bay at the WholeMeal Cafe in 1979, Chaired the Arts Council for 5 years and he was the Secretary of the Village Theatre Society in Golden Bay in the mid 80's. For 3 years Warren also worked in the arts dep on Feature Film and Commercials most notably working with Bruno Lawrence and Geoff Murphy on "The Quiet Earth", and was a music promoter in the late 70'th.
Maria Bennich (Assistant to Chief Executive)
Born in Sweden, but have lived in the Nelson Region permanently since 1992.
Maria has a bachelor degree in Social Work from Stockholm University, but has mainly worked within the tourism sector since living in New Zealand.
Maria started at Arts Marketing in April 2007, as a part time assistant to Chief Executive.
